Hello! My name is Mr. Richards and I am the Aerospace Program Coordinator at Farnsworth Upper!

I went to school in the Roseville school district and graduated High School in 2007. I then went to the University of Minnesota and earned a degree in Biology, graduating in 2012. I did some work teaching reading before going back to the U of M to earn my teaching license. In 2014, I started working at Farnsworth Upper.

This is my tenth year at Farnsworth. Previously, I've taught 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade science, Robotics, Design and Modeling, as well as Meteorology here at Farnsworth.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy working with my hands- working on my house, fixing my car, etc. I also love being outside, and spend a lot of time fishing during the summers and when we have time off of school. I also have three pets (two dogs and a cat).

This year I am working to infuse Aerospace into all classes by bringing all students to the flight simulator lab, and I'm also planning trips for 5th grade to Wolf Ridge in February and 6-8th grade to Space Camp/Aviation Challenge in Alabama at the end of March.
