Ms. Lauren Emerson

Hello all! 

My name is Ms. Emerson and I am thrilled to be teaching at Farnsworth Aerospace Upper this year! I have been teaching at Farnsworth since the 22-23 school year, but I am in my 4th year of teaching overall! 

I teach 5th grade science, aerospace (6th grade) and earth science (6th grade). While I love teaching all about space and technology, my first love was biology. I have lived abroad in Panama and the Dominican Republic for a year, studying 2 different species of birds. In my picture, you'll see me holding an Oropendola, which is a bird we captured on Isla Boca Brava in Panama. 

In my free time, I like to be outdoors, see friends and family, and read! I've had an amazing time teaching at Farnsworth, and I can't wait to continue being a part of Farnsworth students' journeys.
