Farnsworth Upper Campus Performs Skits in Changsha Friendship Garden at Phalen Regional Park

One hundred Farnsworth Aerospace Upper Campus students participated in a unique, cross-content learning experience centered on the Minnesota China Friendship Garden. Through this project, students studied the garden's history and symbolism before collaborating with educators to design the set, props, and costumes.

Three adaptations of Chinese folktales were performed by students last week. Performances included acting with narration, live music, and sound effects. This partnership highlights the power of connecting students directly with their school and local city community.
