Ms. Cahill
My name is Madelyn Cahill, and I am one of your friendly school counselors here at Farnsworth Aerospace 5-8 Campus! I started as a school counselor in St. Paul Public Schools in August of 2014. I spent the first few months of the 2014/2015 school year at Battle Creek Middle School, and I have had the privilege of being at Farnsworth Aerospace since October of 2014. I am thrilled to be returning to Farnsworth for my tenth school year!
As a school counselor, my role is to support students academically, personal/socially, and in career and college exploration. During the school day you can find me working with students one-on-one, in small groups, or in presenting on various topics the classroom. I am a part of the Attendance Team, SAT Team, Restorative Practice Team, and I also facilitate our LGBTQIA+ Club. I love the flexibility of my role here at Farnsworth. Each day is new and different, and I am constantly learning from my students. When I am not working, I enjoy reading, cross-stitching, walking, and laughing with my friends and family.
During the 2024/2025 school year, my caseload will be all of our seventh grade students and eighth grade students. I’m thrilled to be working with these two grade levels, as each possesses their own unique opportunities and challenges. Farnsworth is the most welcoming and positive school environment. I feel lucky to be surrounded by such dedicated staff and hard working students.
