Maria Patera

My name is Maria Patera and I am the school nurse. I joined the Farnsworth Family in Fall 2021! I live in Saint Paul with my husband and 3 children. I have been a nurse since 2007 in many areas such as Cardiac, Orthopedics, Neuro/Plastics, Dementia/Alzheimer’s around the US as well as a Public Health RN while stationed overseas. School Nursing was a natural fit. Being a part of preventative medicine for your student and helping families advocate for their needs is rewarding to be a part of.

I graduated from University of North Dakota with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. As well as a Bachelors of Education in Rehabilitation and Human Services. All this means is that I am a people person and am invested in our community. As always, text or call and we can discuss the best plan for your student. You know them best, and we appreciate you giving us the opportunity to educate and serve them.
