Welcome to the Farnsworth 5-8 science department page! 

In SPPS, all students think and act like scientists and engineers.
Students ask and answer questions about the natural world and design solutions to engineering problems. Science experiences are hands-on and interactive and learning builds on student curiosity and prior knowledge. Students are encouraged to share their understanding, ideas and perspectives. Units and lessons are designed to meet the Minnesota Academic Standards in Science.
