     Happy 2020-21 school year! I have been teaching and entertaining young Scholars for 20ish years. For the last 10 years,  I have been here at Farnsworth Upper. I graduated from Hamline University in 1996 and went on to get my Special Education License at Bethel College in 1998. Over the past 198 months of teaching (+/- 1 school year) I have primarily taught in middle schools although I have at one point or another worked with every grade and even 18+ classes.  

     Outside of school I spend my time with my family and pets (2 dogs and 3 cats).  I love to read, currently I am exploring the LitMMORPG genre.  Reading for fun has vastly expanded my repertoire of words...you might say I know a plethora of words, a veritable buffet of definitions/meanings. When time permits, we also hunt (with the dogs) and fish (no dogs).  I also enjoy cooking and I am currently trying to teach my kids to cook (so i do not have to every night). 

   This school year, I am co-teaching Algebra 8 with Mr. Isebrand, 7th grade Pre-Alg with Ms. Everhartl and I have my own Math Essentials Course. 

One thing I enjoy about working at Farnsworth Upper Campus is the AeroSpace Content and the indepth Science classes...I tend to go visit these classes when I have a spare moment.  

  When in doubt....put your fone away and get outside, read, do something!
